Celebration of Liberty

Here in town there is a group of people that have started a tradition for the 4th of July called Celebration of Liberty. They started it last year and we have enjoyed being a part of the activities.
Last Saturday was the Children's Parade. (It is always the Saturday before the 4th) Your just supposed to dress up your family is red, white, and blue and march down Main Street.
Last night my mom and Lisa performed in a program that is also a part of the Celebration about the Constitution. There was lots of music, a reinactment of Patrick Henry's speech "Give me Liberty or give me death", and some really good speakers. Glenn Rawson was the key note speaker and it was really good.
The day before the 4th they do a big firework display at Rigby Lake. It is set to music (kinda like the Idaho Falls fireworks) and has actually been really good the last few years. This year I'm pretty sure the music will be broadcast on KUPI 99.

The children's parade looked like tons of fun! We should have gone but I totally spaced it! I can't wait for Friday!
