Little Miracles

Have you ever had a month that your bills just kept piling up, you were behind on this and that was coming due, and then something happens that you have to pay for a major expense and you have no idea how you are going to feed your family let alone pay your bills?  Well, we have had a month like that.  We felt liking we were pinching pennies anyway, and then my tooth started hurting...
Now having a tooth hurt for me isn't always that out of the ordinary cause occasionally my teeth hurt because of sinus pressure or something.  Well, this tooth wasn't getting better.  I finally went to the Dentist and he informed me that I had a cracked tooth, I would have to have a crown, and owe by-the-way we need $200 down before we will fix it.  Well, we got thinking, well when Dave gets paid we should be able to pay for the dentist... We paid the dentist and our bank account was running on fumes.
Two days later we went in for our semi-annual teeth cleanings.  ANOTHER bill to pay.
Later that day Elena had an appointment at the Ear Nose and Throat doctor.  OF COURSE she has to get tubes put her ears at the end of the month.
I didn't know what to do... I called my mom and cried (cause that's what us Lee Nielson decedants do best) and she said she could lend us some money for a couple of weeks.  MOM YOUR OUR FIRST MIRACLE!!!  Thank you so much!!!
The next day, on Friday,  I went to check the bank account to see if there was enough money to go to a fundraiser dinner for the youth in our ward.  There was $300 dollars more than I expected.  I got looking and someone else had put money in our account!  Whoever put that money in our account YOU'RE OUR SECOND MIRACLE!!
Next Saturday rolled around and we were feeling a little better, things were looking up.  Dave opened the mail and we couldn't believe our eyes.  The Workman's Comp Company that handled Dave's shoulder problems had sent us a check for over $1000!!  We seriously stood there and gaped at each other, could we really believe our eyes?  The check we got will not only cover Elena's surgery but probably our dental bills too!  I guess all things come in 3's, not just the bad things!  This was OUR THIRD MIRACLE!
Sometimes when we are doing everything we can, Little Miracles occur in our lives and we are given the help that we need.  We must just recognize them and be grateful for all our miracles big and small.

I love hearing things like this, because it's just great!!! Sorry you had to get a crown though, that does suck. :o/

It's because you're great people and great things happen to great people! Call me anytime, and we can cry together! Mom's are nice for that though aren't they?

I'm glad everything worked out. Those times can be scary when you don't know what you're going to do and the Lord looks out for you.

Wow, that's so nice. Things have a way of working themselves out. I'm a HUGE tithing believer. Even if it seems like there's not enough money, there always seems to be enough...
