We were driving home from Idaho Falls today and Ella saw a Cemetary. Next thing she asked if we could go visit Emmett sometime, so we drove out to the cemetary for a visit.
Elena likes to pet Emmett's bear when we go. Hopefully she won't rub all the texture off.
It is always interesting the conversations we have when we are in/leaving the cemetary. Today Ella was asking me if Grandpa Gene knew her when she was a little baby. I got to explain that Grandpa didn't know them when they were babies, but Grandpa knew Ella, Elena, and Emmett in heaven before they came here to Earth. The girls got excited, not only to know they knew Grandpa before they came here, but also to know that they knew Emmett there.
