Have you ever wondered what the phrase "fighting like cats and dogs" really means? Well, after several months of observation we have come up with the answer. Watch how the smaller cat ignores the fact that he is only about 1/3 the size of the dog and yet refuses to give up the fight. This by the way is almost a daily occurence in our household. We have come to the conclusion that this is the natural order of things. This is also one of the many reasons that our house remains a mess despite our efforts to clean it almost daily. Anyways, enjoy the show.

The Living Planet Aquarium
I just realized tonight that I didn't post anything about The Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. Who would have thunk that you could see Sharks and Sting Rays in Utah? Anyway... When we were down in Utah last month, Grandpa (Papa) and Grandma Cederstrom took us to go and see the aquarium. The Living Planet Aquarium is just a small version of what they hope to build after they get more donations. (right now it is actually in an old grocery store) Although it is pretty small we had a lot of fun looking at the animals.
Ella loved looking at all the animals, especially when Grandma Cederstrom would tell her what they were, and help her touch them. This aquarium had a crab in it that Ella just thought was hilarious. It was a rare moment when Crabby wasn't a bad thing! Ha ha....ok bad joke moving on...
Ella's favorite part was definitely looking at the sharks. If we would have let her she would have looked at the sharks ALL DAY LONG!!

Although we had a lot of fun, the main thing that us adults got out of the trip was an intense desire to eat sea food!!

Bear Lake, BEAR LAKE, La-La La-La La-La
Uh... Went a little crazy with the title there...
A couple weeks ago (yes I'm behind again...) we had a reunion in Draper, so on the way we decided we would swing by Bear Lake and see uncle Ted. It was Elena's first trip to lake, and once we figured out how to make her happy, she had a pretty good time.
One of the coolest things about Bear Lake this year, is that Dave finally has a child that is big and brave enough to go in the water with him. Ella had a great time playing in the water! Eventually she got cold, but she doesn't have any insulation on her whole body!!

The Mystery of Mischief
From Elena |
Have you ever seen the commercial where the lady is talking about how stains mysteriously happen or mysteriously cover themselves up? That is exactly what I thought of when I saw the scene before I took this picture. A 8 month old baby (that can barely sit up) mysteriously reaches into a box (that is out of arms reach) and strings yarn around her own head and half-way across the room... hmmm... something doesn't quite add up.
