Quick California Trip

For those of you who didn't know, David's Grandpa died, so we took a quick trip to California last week.  We drove to Utah Wednesday night, and then drove to California Thusday.  While we were there we spent one day at Disneyland.  The kid's had SOOOO much fun!!  Now, if you are anything like me, you don't have a lot of time to read, and I don't want to write a book.  So, I made this slide show of the highlights of our trip, and I wrote short comments for each of the pictures.

After we went to the funeral on Saturday we went and spent some time @ Laguna Beach.  (The real one, none of this fake Lagoon nonsense)  Stephanie and Catherine took Ella down to the beach, while the rest of us took a nap.  After we got there Ella and I played in the shallow waves for a little while.  However, being the Idaho kids that we are, we got a little more wet than we wanted!!  Here are some pictures of our time @ Laguna.

Prayers for Andy

Say A Prayer For Andy

My brother Andy was having some problems with his leg, hip, and back after he fell a couple weeks ago. He has had one hip replacement due to treatments that he had when he had cancer. To make a long story short, his doctors in Montana thought that it was just his other hip giving out on him, so he decided that he would come see the Doctor here in Idaho that did his first surgery. Before he got here he started fevering, his leg started swelling, and his white blood cell count was elevated. They did an MRI and found an infection deep in his leg. The good news is that he doesn't have to do the hip surgery right now. The bad news is that when they did surgery to drain the infection, they think it is strep, so he is having a hard time. Keep Andy in your prayers, and if you happen to be in Rexburg maybe swing by and say hello.

THE TRAGIC DEATH OF JOSLEN LA BONITA by Cory S. Pondant of the Jefferson Star

Known for her Runway style and Old Hollywood Grace, Joslen La Bonita's life came to a tragic end when she was poisoned on October 2 this year. No one knows exactly what happened, but sources say that she was getting together with a bunch of old friends for a Halloween dinner party when the murder occurred. Witnesses from the scene (shown below) claim that many of the friends had motives, but they didn't beleive that any of them would be capable of killing her. Thus ends another misunderstood life from show-biz...
