Pink Eye Carnage

Well, it has happened again.  We have PINK-EYE in our house again....  Whoever the wonderful people were that sent their kids to preschool or church with pink eye, I don't know but we got it!  On Sunday last week Ella's eye started looking a little goopy, so I started putting drops in her eye that I had left over from the last time we had pink eye.  I got her eyes under control pretty fast but didn't let her go to school on Monday.  Elena's eyes started getting yucky on Monday, so we got drops in her eyes.  We went to Utah Wednesday, and by then their eyes were looking pretty good.  Low and behold while we were in Utah our drops ran out....  So one day without drops, and we started all over again.  Poor Elena woke up looking like she had been a boxing match this morning!
Thus was the Pink-eye carnage of March 2009.

Rigby 1st Ward: We Love the 90s!

For those of you who haven't been around, my life lately has been consumed by "The Roadshow."  Yes the infamous "ROADSHOW!"  For those of you who haven't ever been in a roadshow... BUCK UP!!!  It is a lot of fun, even if you do look silly!
This year our stake did Music through the decades for the theme, and our wards got The 90s.  We danced to lots of fun songs from the 90s including I like to move it (yes those of you who have children, it is in Madagascar, but it really did come out in the 90s), The Macarena (HEY MACARENA!), You Can't Touch This (Hammer Time!), The Boot Scootin' Boogie (YEE-HAW!), and I'll be there for you (Yes, the FRIENDS song).
Ella got to dance to the "Move it" song.  She will probably be very sad that she doesn't get to do her "Move it" dance anymore.  Evertime we have gone to the church (on a day other than Sunday) in the last month she has asked when we were going to "Move it."  She even made it a regular occurence to practice at home.  (don't be surprised if you sing the "Move it" song and she tells you to go to sleep... that's another story!)  Ella did such a good job, I am sooooo proud of her!  (She did get a little shy our first performance, but luckily her dad was close by to encourage her!)
I was so greatful for the FUN people that did the Roadshow with us, they were good sports and did all the crazy dance moves I asked them to do!!  Thank you everyone!!!

It has been a stressful few weeks getting the roadshow together, but now that is over I can't help but think about what it would be fun to do for next year... it is a viscious cycle, but for now I can breathe easy and have a little extra time to relax!

ST PATTY'S DAY!!!

HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY!

We woke up this morning, and began frosting cookies for our Home/Visiting Teaching families.  My girls were soooo excited cause mom finally made cookies and didn't give them all away.  (when I was frosting cookies today, Ella was like, "don't take all of them, ok mom?")
As you can tell from these pictures they quite enjoyed sticking there fingers in the frosting and eating it.

In fact Elena didn't really want the cookie, she just wanted the frosting!  (it begins
already...)
The rest of
the day wasn't that memorable,
except for wearing green, but you know it still is
GREEN
DAY so we must celebrate!

Ella's 1st Talk in Primary

Ella gave her very first talk in Primary today.  (Well, actually to tell the truth Mommy gave Ella's first talk in primary today, and I don't even mean that I wrote it)  Ella got really shy and wouldn't say the words, but she held up her pictures and bore her testimony.
What a big girl I have that is already giving talks in Primary.
